PLEASE CONSIDER THIS: In the past ten years, Michigan has lost 619,200 private sector jobs. That’s 16.0% of them which “leads” the nation. During the same period, the Ann Arbor area has lost 25,100 private sector jobs. That’s 17.1% of them.

A lot of people and their families have chosen to relocate, but not you. If you would like to reverse a very distasteful trend, your best move is to BUY LOCAL.

You place a $100 order with one of Andrews’ multi-national competitors such as Staples Business Advantage or Office Depot Business Services Division. Sometime tomorrow they deliver your supplies. And that is pretty much the entire impact of your transaction on our community. You send your money to Framingham, Massachusetts, or to Delray Beach, Florida, where it works for somebody else.

Or you order from Andrews. You receive it a little sooner in slightly better condition; it didn’t travel nearly so far. You have a little money left over (see “Optimize Product Cost”). But that’s just the beginning.
